The photos and artwork on these sites aren't necessarily "free" in the sense that you can do whatever you want with them. Almost all of them require attribution. Many of them use Creative Commons licenses. It's your obligation to research each resource and determine the conditions under which they will permit you to use their photos and artwork free of charge.

Never, ever use Google image search to find photos and artwork. Consider everything you see online copyrighted and ineligible for use unless the creator specifically states otherwise.
