Unlike WordPress, the WikiMedia software does not allow you to format a page using a Graphic User Interface. Instead, Wikimedia uses something called Wikimarkup or wikitext, which is similar to html in that it allows you to format the page using text. Using Wkimarkup, you can break your page into sections, insert several types of links, and perform many other useful functions. A full Wikimarkup reference can be found below.

To Create a Page

1.) Type the desired name of your page, exactly as you wish it to appear, into the wiki search.

2.) After hitting search, at the bottom of the search page, you will see the option to create a page of that name. If the page already exists, this option will not be available.

Formatting Your Page

Unlike WordPress, the WikiMedia software does not allow you to format a page using a Graphic User Interface, except for a few functions. Instead, Wikimedia uses something called Wikimarkup or wikitext, which is similar to html in that it allows you to format the page using text. Using Wkimarkup, you can break your page into sections, insert several types of links, and perform many other useful functions. A full Wikimarkup reference can be found below.
